I thought I would have the tile down in my storage area by now, but after doing some research on the net, I found out that basement concrete floors are a)moist and b) alkaline. These two factors make self adhesive tile a bad idea because they don't stick for long.
So I went to Home Depot and checked out a sub-floor, which will be perfect. In the meantime, I also got two big storage bins, one extra large and one big to put on my newly shortened shelf. If they are a good fit, I will buy more and then start the big job of sorting out the many many mismached, cardboard boxes in my basement.
